Young Philanthropists

United Way of the National Capital Area’s Young Philanthropists represent a new kind of “YP” in our nation’s capital. We are not only young professionals, we are young philanthropists who direct our passion and ambition to our careers and to our communities.

We come together to make a collective impact and advance United Way’s fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our community. We invest in the region that has invested in us. And together, we are building the next generation of leaders who give.

As a Young Philanthropist, you can look forward to:

  • Serving our community through regular volunteer opportunities.
  • Connecting with like-minded peers to expand your network and give back to our community.
  • Learning about our area’s most pressing challenges and the ways in which you can help address them through philanthropy and service.
  • Developing your professional skills through regular development opportunities.

If you are interested in joining our movement, please contact Aaron Bobik, Manager of Philanthropic Engagement, at abobik@uwnca.org or 202-488-2073.
